Since 1861, Beau-Rivage Palace has been proving that tradition and innovation – just like cultural heritage and modernity – can complement each other very well. The property is synonym of Switzerland’s typically excellent hospitality and it was maybe the most amazing Grand Hotel I have ever visited. I admit that explaining its grandeur is a hard task. It will be a pleasure to share my impressions with you. Enjoy the ride!
Six Senses Douro Valley is located in a superbly renovated 19th-century Manor House set high on a hill overlooking the vine covered rolling hills of the Douro Valley and the river below. A breathtaking spa, ultra modern rooms, suites and villas, fantastic restaurants, a wine library, swimming pools and an organic garden are but a few of the many features offered in this oasis right in the middle of the oldest wine region ever registered in the world. I spent some days in this paradise and it will be my pleasure to share every detail with you. Enjoy the ride!
Have you ever imagined dining in a nursery that dates back to 1926? I did it during my last month living in Amsterdam and will be glad to share my experience in one of the healthiest and most beautiful restaurants I have ever been. Enjoy the ride!
Hôtel Palafitte is the only hotel built on stilts in Europe and I was very curious to see it since the first time I saw pictures of the property. I chose Palafitte for my first trip since I moved to Switzerland as me and my husband were in need of serious relaxation. I couldn’t be happier with my choice and I will tell you everything you have to know to enjoy this paradise. Enjoy the ride!
The Betsy was pretty much the last Georgian-style hotel to be built on Ocean Drive and was called The Betsy Ross at the time. “Unique” is the right word to describe the property and its pre-deco plantation style. The absence of pool parties, nightclubs and celebrity DJs makes The Betsy stand out from its attention-starved neighbour hotels and a recent renovation has turned it into one of the best choices in South Beach.
I was there one month ago and will describe in detail how it went.
Tucked on six pristine oceanfront acres fringed with palm trees and tropical vegetation + a striking infinity swimming pool, flanked with chaises longues angled towards the ocean and sophisticated decor, Zemi Beach House Resort & Spa redefines luxury island living for a new generation. Blending contemporary residential style with unique experiences that reflect the island’s rich history and the traditions of its people, this elegant newcomer on the shores of Shoal Bay East inspires all to enjoy life and nature.
Once a sleepy British West Indies isle, Anguilla is fast becoming the Caribbean’s most stylish island retreat. I visited this paradise one month ago and I am ready to tell you in detail how it went.
Comporta beach was the sensation of this summer. No other destination in Europe created such a buzz among the hip traveler crowd as the turquoise waters of Comporta, which is located only 120 km to the south of Lisbon.
It had been a while that I wanted to see this beauty with my own eyes but for some reason I always postponed it. Not this year. I went! Yeah!!! And of course I will share all the best beaches, coolest restaurants and amazing places to stay with you.
I don’t really know how many times I have been to MOMO just as I don’t know how many times I have been to Amsterdam before living here. MOMO is a classic. Years go by, there is always a bunch of new restaurants in town and MOMO holds strong as a trendy hotspot. This restaurant is the originator of high-end Asian cuisine + distinct design in Amsterdam and has been raising the bar for more than 9 years.
Thumbs up for fresh and inventive Asian fusion that is food for our body, soul and also our eyes. Do not forget the amazing cocktails prepared to perfection by some of the best bartenders in the Netherlands.
I returned to this beloved restaurant two weeks ago and it will be a pleasure to share my impressions with you.
Dining at The Duchess, in Amsterdam, is one of those experiences for every sense. I still cannot decide which aspect of this place is the most stunning one: food, ambience, service… Everything is absolutely perfect at this former KAS Bank in W Hotel, in the heart of the city.
The first time I visited this restaurant was around one year ago when the concierge of a great hotel told me that it was an experience “per se” in town. I returned two weeks ago to confirm that it just got even better.
I am very happy to share the experience in detail with you because it was fantastic!!!
I first visited Ron Gastrobar in Amsterdam some years ago, before I could even imagine that I would end up living in this city. I went with my husband and we had such a great experience that since then I have been recommending this place to everybody who asks about good restaurant in Amsterdam.
After this first time, I returned in two other occasions (and counting) and the word to describe food, service, ambience, etc, etc, etc is “SUPERB”. Last time I was at Ron Gastrobar was last week and it will be a pleasure to tell you in detail how it feels to dine in such a great place, one of the few restaurants in Amsterdam which were awarded a Michelin star.
